Changes to the 2020 Nissan Versa

If you test drive the 2020 Nissan Versa at Speck Nissan, you may notice that it is longer, wider, and lower than last year’s model. It is only available as a sedan. Also updated are the taillights and the C-pillar. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder boosts its performance to 122 horsepower and 114 lb.-ft. of torque.

Safety Tech

You’ll drive more confidently around Sunnyside, WA, when you’re shielded from harm by Frontal Collision Warning, which can avoid accidents by engaging Automatic Emergency Braking before you hit another vehicle. Go into reverse and Rear Automatic Emergency Braking prevents you from backing into obstacles.

Trim Designs

The S trim at the entry-level comes with power windows and door locks, and a rearview camera. The mid-level SV uses a Continuous Variable Transmission and satellite radio. At the top, the SR includes remote engine start, automatic climate control, and leather around the steering wheel and shift knob.

Awards for the Best

In the small car category that looked at 335 models, the Nissan Versa received a BEST 5 award from the Automotive Sciences Group. Consumer Guide® also called the vehicle an Automotive Best Buy. Praising the subcompact’s protection is the Five-Star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
